Reconciliation

See everything has become new! All this is from God, who reconciled us to himself through Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation.

What is Reconciliation?

Reconciliation is the Sacrament we receive after Confession to a priest. Jesus instituted this Sacrament when he said to his disciples, “Receive the Holy Spirit. If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.” (John 20:22-23).Reconciliation is about the mercy of Jesus Christ and seeing the merciful face of God the Father. Confession breaks the power of shame, and restores us to God’s grace and intimate friendship.
