Our vision is to influence our neighborhood (St James Town), our city, our country, and our world for Christ: to love others because God loved us first. We aspire to be a church where the hurting, helpless, and hopeless can find help. We also aspire to be a community where every member can use his or her God-given gifts and talents.
We care for the needs of those in our parish community and beyond. We have active ministries at local long-term care facilities including Fudger House, Rekai Centre, and the Toronto Grace Hospital. Click the link below to learn more about our ministries of care (Pastoral Visitors, Prayer Requests, Hospital Visits, etc.).
Our chapter of the Society of Saint Vincent de Paul offers short-term assistance to Torontonians in need. The Society provides emergency assistance such as food vouchers, new or gently-used clothing, furniture and household items. Members also give friendship, guidance and referrals to enable individuals and families to improve their situations through community programs and parish involvement. The Society also helps youth to attend overnight camp in the summer.
